What Dr. Kittisak publishes and how often it is cited
1. Developing the diagnostic toolkits by CRISPR-cas system for various fields such as pathogen in pets and plant diseases, species authentication and so on. 2. Genetic improvements of Thai medicinal plants including Centella asistica and Bacopa monnieri by advanced biotechnology.

72 of the 149 papers are in Q1 journals (Scopus, else SJR). N/A: the venue has no quartile.
These add up to 1,720. Citations (2,059) is SciPub's own count from 149 papers, so the two differ.

Background and recognition
Assistant Prof. Kittisak Buddhachat, Ph.D. is focusing about developing molecular detection using various systems in particular isothermal amplification (LAMP and RPA) combined with reporter assays like CRISPR-cas system (e.g. cas12, cas13) and PNA-GO mechanism as frugal technology. Our ultimate goal is to employ for point-of-care (POC) in various fields like veterinary, agriculture and medical diagnosis. In addition, I am interested in plant breeding of Centella asiatica for improving their performance in secondary metabolite production. So now, we are establishing the candidate genes for their economically important traits like triterpenoid content, biomass production, leaf size, adaptability to climate change and disease resistance.
